California Traffic Safety Institute

CTSI's founder Norma Jean Medlin organized the company with the goal to improve the traffic school program and to offer other safety programs such as continuing education classes for traffic and driving school owners and instructors, community grants developed to enhance traffic safety in California with a focus on child safety. In addition, CTSI provides the public a voice as a liaison to the Courts, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the traffic schools.

Soliciting the expertise of the Honorable Judge Benjamin Aranda, the Institute composed the "Traffic School Rules & Procedures Manual & Agreement" form. Judge Aranda and the Institute are of the same opinion, that if the courts are going to allow traffic schools the courts should have some regulatory authority over these programs in an expedient manner.

Our goal is to ensure that the courts clients are receiving a quality program, in a safe environment.
