Identity Verification
Requirement:
The Madera County Superior Court requires verified testing for all students who choose the
home study traffic school option. After completion of the program, the student is required
to take a test and have their identity verified. There are various ways to have your
identity verified and some may require travel to a third party location that may be
different from where the coursework was completed, while other methods can be completed
online. Locations, times and methods for verified testing vary. Please read the
instructions for the program you select before registering for the course
Important information regarding your
certificate of completion: Upon successful completion and payment for your course, all
home study certificates of completion are transmitted to the Court electronically through
a secure data portal. Upon registration, should you provide the home study program with an
e-mail address or cell phone number that accepts text messages, you will be updated once
the Court receives and processes your certificate of completion. In the event that you do
not have access to either, you can contact the home study provider to inquire as to the
status of your certificate. Please do not call the Court.
